Introducing the SEM 15013, Landau Black, Color Coat Vinyl Paint in a convenient 12 oz aerosol can. This versatile product is specifically formulated to revive or transform the color of vinyl, carpet, prepped and primed metal, velour, and plastic. It is commonly used for refinishing vehicle interiors and motorcycle seats. The Color Coat is designed to be user-friendly and dries quickly. Its elastomeric properties ensure that it does not crack over time.

Before applying the SEM Color Coat, it is crucial to prepare the surface properly. Thorough cleaning is essential. To achieve optimal results, thoroughly clean the surface with hot soapy water. For an extra level of cleanliness, use SEM 39362 SEM Soap to scrub the surface and rinse with water. Either blow dry or towel dry, and then further clean the surface with either SEM 38343 Vinyl Prep or SEM 38353 Plastic Prep. It is important to note that if the surface is not clean, the product will not adhere properly.

For plastic surfaces, it is necessary to use a plastic adhesion promoter. SEM 39863 Flexible Bonding Clear or SEM 38363 Sand Free are recommended options. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for application.

When applying the Color Coat, it is recommended to do so in light, even coats. It is preferable to apply several light coats with 5-10 minutes of drying time between each coat, as opposed to one heavy coat.

For added protection or if you desire a change in sheen, you can apply one of Sem's clear coats. Choose from SEM 13003 High Gloss, SEM 13013 Satin Gloss, or SEM 13023 Low Luster.

After approximately 10 minutes, the product will be dry to the touch. However, for a minimum of 24 hours, it is important to avoid subjecting the substrate to heavy abuse or abrasion to ensure optimal results.
