Self Etching Primer is a first-step coating that provides excellent adhesion to bare substrates. Warning: This product can expose you to chemicals which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Primer Primer fits this product.
Before applying the primer, pre-clean the surfaces with SEM Solve Pre Cleaner. Next, abrade the surfaces to be coated with 320 grit sandpaper. After that, clean the surfaces again with SEM Solve Pre Cleaner.
When applying the primer, use 2-3 coats at a distance of 6" - 8". Allow 5-10 minutes of flash time between each coat. Apply only enough self etching primer to achieve color hiding; do not over-apply.
